Fentanyl Awareness

We are also very involved with the Fentanyl epidemic that is sweeping our nation. We are dedicated to uniting the state of Alabama in the battle against opioid drug addiction. We will do this through social media,  public service announcements , live events, direct mail and Vocalization. We will partner with other organizations across our state to bring forth raw data, education, awareness and recovery to those in need. We will also stand in the gap for all of those in the battle of their lives and to the ones grieving the loss due to fentanyl poisoning. We will stand for closing our borders and stiff penalties for trafficking lethal drugs.  All organizations on mission have our our support.

A final word : be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power
Ephesians 6:10

RECOVERY

The HAYS-FOUNDATION is focused on the addiction recovery process. We recognize the pitfalls in the recovery process and have dedicated our time to partner with local facilities to bring you options for your specific needs. We know from experience that recovery decisions are based on specific individual needs. Some of the questions may be, how much is this going to cost? How long is the stay? Do I have to give up my phone? Who can help me?, I am all alone and not sure what to do. We like to believe that God will provide the right treatment, for the right person ,at the right time.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

our story

This is our son Hays Hatfield. Hays was our first born son and the inspiration for this foundation. Hays had a big heart and a generous soul. He was inspired by his music and friends. His drug use once told him, he was cool, he was accepted and how it could make him feel good. Throughout the years, what it did not tell him was how it was devastating his family, taking his job, how it was taking away his ambitions and dreams, and how it would take and take and take until it took his life. On August 30,2022 it did just that, he fell victim to fentanyl poisoning. When he died, a part of us died along with him. The pain of his death amongst his family and friends is heartbreaking and intolerable. This is why we have brought forth this foundation and are on a mission to help save lives, bring hope, awareness and recovery to this growing problem.
